Workshop on Data and Information Management, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia

Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia held the workshop on Data and Information Management to university web masters in Grand Mercury Hotel, Setiabudhi, Bandung. About 85 academic civities attended the meeting in order to improve the information quality to the academic communities. The agenda was followed by benchmarking the best practice of information management from Institut Teknologi Bandung. Prof. Wahyu Srigutomo Explained how its university has integrated the information system so that all the stakeholders will obtain the same updated information. As one of the reputable universities, this result was very important to compete globally. Moreover, the annual university ranking program, kemenristekdikti expected the university to standardize the information management integratedly. The public data must be updated and published regularly especially the data has represented the uniqueness of university’s vision and missions. The meeting also discussed the record of benchmarking achievements year by year. Prof. Wawan Setiawan said that the data collection and integration management will positively contribute to improving the university webometric rank.
