National Seminar of Science Education

Universitas Negeri Semarang held the national seminar meeting on science education. 24 heads of the science education study program attended the meeting. The general secretary of the Indonesian society of science education, Dr. Parmin, officially opened the meeting. The meeting discusses the program learning outcomes. Prof. Erman from Universitas Negeri Surabaya directs the meeting in order to share the study program experience in internationalizing the program. Prof. Insih from Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta starts sharing the international program on science education in Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. The science education program in UNY has obtained international accreditation from ASIIN. She told that the accreditation letter was firstly issued as a conditional letter for 1 year. The accreditation needs laboratory safety improvement so that the requirement will meet the minimum ASIIN international standard. After fulfilling all laboratory safety facilities, the accreditation agent officially announces the unconditional accreditation letter. Dr. Eka Cahya Prima continue describing the curriculum of IPSE in the forum. He explains the AQAS accreditation experience. Prof. Munzil from Universitas Malang finally describes the science education curriculum in his university.
