National Meeting of Indonesian Society for Science Educators – 2019

Bogor, 16-17 November 2019

National Meeting of Indonesian Society for Science Educators (PPII) 2019 was held in Universitas Pakuan, Bogor, 16-17 November 2019. International Program on Science Education has participated in that event. Dr. Eka Cahya Prima, Dr. Diana Rochintaniawati, and Ms. Eliyawati, M.Pd. have attended the meeting. The meeting was in conjunction with the National Seminar of Indonesian Society for Science Educators, having a theme “Science Education Challenges in 4.0 Industrial Revolution Era”.

Prof. Anna Permanasari has officially opened the event. The gathering was begun by presenting the accountability report of national and regional committees within the one-year organization. Anggaran Dasar AD, Anggaran Rumah Tangga ART of PPII have been revised and adjusted based on the necessity of science educators. Prof. Anna Permanasari has been selected again as the chairman of PPII 2020. She also directed the selection of a national committee of PPII. Ms. Eliyawati was nominated as a vice general secretary of PPII, Dr. Eka Cahya Prima was chosen as the member of the research and publication committee team of PPII, and Dr. Diana Rochintaniawati was elected as the member of human capital development of PPII. During the event, Dr. Eka Cahya Prima as the editor in chief of the Journal of Science Learning has initiated the collaboration between PPII and the Journal of Science Learning (JSL). He has signed the new memorandum of agreement to collaborate on the publication between PPII and JSL. [Eka Cahya Prima].
