IPSE  8th Batch of Sea Teacher

IPSE collaborated with OIER under the program of the SEA Teacher run program of one moth practice teaching from. “Raweewan Invaree” or Fern from Rajabhath University participated in the program for teaching Science at Labschool UPI. Under the supervision of IPSE lecturer and Labschool teacher (Mrs. Rika Siti Jahara S.Pd.) Fern prepares several lesson plans for her teaching including worksheets and teaching media.

During her teaching a Labschool She said that students of labschool were fully supporting her. “Lack of ability in English was not a barrier for us“. Further, She said, “My students looked happy and they actively engaged in my teaching mostly when we did Laboratory activity”. 

Teaching is the main activity for SEA Teacher Program students. However, besides teacher students are also experience to know the culture and the beauty of the city. In their free time they can have fun and enjoy time by exploring the city of Bandung. Fern and her twin sister who also join the SEA Teacher program at the same time for Mathematics had the opportunity to visit Kawah Putih in Ciwidey, Floating Market and Orange farming. 

SEA-Teacher Project is a teaching practice program under UPI that is organized by OIER. The program is one of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) aims to develop human capacity in South East Asian countries. The program is held annually. The current member involved in SEA Teacher for SEMEAO program is Malaysia, Indonesia, The Philippines, and Thailand.
